The Allstar Group of Companies began operations in Abbotsford, BC in 1981. In the early 80's Allstar Mechanical Ltd. worked through-out the Lower Mainland as well as the interior of BC, becoming the first open shop Mechanical Contractor to work on high-rise construction in Vancouver. Allstar had a presence in most major projects of the day which included projects in Tumbler Ridge and Elkford, BC.

A decade later the Allstar Group expanded to include Fire Protection with Rocky Mountain Sprinklers Ltd., providing clients Engineered approved Sprinkler installations. In the early 90's Allstar and Rocky Mtn. continued to be major contributors to the Construction Industry, participating in many high-profile projects such as The Sheraton Wall Centre Garden Hotel & Residences. While securing the mechanical contracts on numerous new multi-residential projects, we also completed renovations on projects such as The Whistler Convention Centre and The Westin Bayshore Hotel and Convention Centre. Along the way a reputation was established with Developers, General Contractors, Engineers and Suppliers as a team player and a company that can be counted on with the expertise to get the job done. It is the belief of company President, Norm Wilson, that providing prompt and quality customer service with a can-do attitude is what sets us apart from the rest.

Moving into the millennium, Norm's son Jeff joined the Allstar team as Vice-President of Operations, after completing his Masters Degree in Economics. With his fresh enthusiasm and vision, the Allstar Group expanded into the commercial market by acquiring Drumoak Mechanical Services Ltd. which has expertise in new high-tech installations such as the General Hydrogen Plant in Richmond, as well as Museums and Art Galleries' and renovations on the Cloverdale Casino & Race Track. Under Jeff's direction Allstar Mechanical Ltd. has also refined its Service Department to offer its clients service and maintenance contracts to existing buildings giving owners the peace of mind that is only achieved by hiring a reputable contractor. Allstar is proud to have worked in conjunction with the Lonsdale Energy Corporation, a district leader in the Leed Program, on The Pier project in North Vancouver to promote an environmentally friendly mechanical system which aim is to achieve sustainability in energy consumption.

More recently, Allstar Group of Companies has been involved in many projects involving new technology and energy efficient innovation for design build projects. Those include multi-family geothermal projects, Thermenex trademarked system designed by IMEC Mechanical.
